Meet Marcus Drenth
Managing Director & Marketing Strategist
In 2023, after a career in corporate marketing at BISSELL and HarperCollins, Marcus launched NineTen Media. “I’m not even big on the word agency,” he says, “because I think of clients as teammates. By design, NineTen extends the kind of welcome and generosity you’d get from good teammates. And I love seeing our clients thrive.”

Hey there,
I’ve spent nearly 20 years in marketing, working with organizations ranging from growing local businesses to Fortune 500-level companies.
Along the way, I learned that good marketing doesn’t need to be complicated. It starts with understanding the business, figuring out what actually matters, and doing great work that moves it forward.
I wanted to bring the strategy and experience I’d gained working with large organizations to businesses looking for a down-to-earth marketing partner. No unnecessary layers. No one-size-fits-all playbook. Just smart strategy, good execution, and people who care about the work.
Today, we’re fortunate to work with some incredible businesses, many of which have been with us for years. We’ve helped them launch websites, reach new customers, grow revenue, and solve all kinds of marketing challenges along the way.
